MSA / Cost Projection Analysis

Per Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) laws, all Parties involved in Workers Compensation, No-Fault and Liability cases are responsible for protecting Medicare’s interests when coming to a resolution about medical expenses.
TrustToss takes Medicare into account through the following services:
Medicare Set Aside (MSA) Workers’ Compensation and Liability:
This service places injury-related Medicare covered needs over the claimant’s life expectancy. MSAs are prepared by a registered nurse, Certified Medicare Set Aside Consultants and/or Certified Life Care Planners. The following records are required to prepare for MSA:- First injury report
- Two years of medical records
- All surgical, procedure, Cat Scan and MRI reports (life of claim)
- Two years of pharmacy history
- Two years of all-inclusive payment history, organized by medical, identity and expense
- Claimant-signed consent to release
MSA Update:
TrustToss will provide updates and revisions on MSAs upon request.MSA Submission:
TrustToss will formally submit the MSA and appropriate documentation to CMA for approval. We’ll provide all documentation and information for CMA to review, and will prepare all MSA allocations for the client unless directed otherwise. The following records and documentation are required for submission:- Claimant-signed consent to release
- Two years of medical history
- All surgical, procedure, Cat Scan and MRI reports (life of claim)
- Two years current pharmacy history
- Two years current all-inclusive payment history, organized by medical, identity and expense
